White Sand Island:
Famous destined getaway in Camiguin. A good 3 – 5 minutes ride from the bay near Paras Beach Resort and you’ll set foot in one of the best beaches in the Philippines with shades of bluish green salt water and changing shape of sand bar due to tidal schedules. Forming in Letter “C”, “I”, and “L” you definitely be amazed with the place.

Boys of Camiguin
Remembering the Naked Island in Britania Group of Islands in Surigao del Sur, the vanishing islet of Cagbalete and Burot in Quezon and Batangas respectively. They are all superb white sand with different appeal in my own naked eyes.

Indeed a relaxing place to enjoy with friends and family. According to my research the best time to visit the place is during sunset, somewhat a romantic setup for love birds. Morning, noon and afternoon, anytime of the day this spot really stand out and seize the moment to be one in nature.

Best location for outdoor photo shoot, snorkeling with its crystal clear water, sun bathing in the treeless isle or just staring in the midst pleasuring the opportunity to be in this island and saying “This is the best beach to beat”
Farewell White Sand Island

AUTHOR’S NOTE: Maximum of 6 persons per boat is mandated by the local government to ensure the safety of the tourists. For our group we’ve paid 1200 pesos roundtrip fare bound to White Sand Island and Sunken Cemetery. In the bay area, there are stores offering snorkeling goggles and life vest rentals. Together with my friends, we highly recommend to backpackers alike to experience what we’ve felt with this beach in Camiguin.
